The Fanta image looks like it’s correctly fitting the slider. If it isn’t, would you be able to provide a screenshot of the intended look?
Hi, seequeencity. Adding widgets to both the right and left sidebars will automatically give you a three-column layout.
Hi, islandvoiceinc. I’ve refunded your Newsy purchase and deactivated the theme.
Hi, sofanerds. Minimum has been refunded and deactivated.
Good luck with your blog!
Hi, Don. It looks like you’ve refunded and deactivated Photography already. Let us know if you run into any issues.
Hi, Maria. It looks like that’s been refunded and deactivated for you. Good luck with your new blog!
April 9, 2012 at 3:44 pm in reply to: Currents theme no image in placeholder and no help #116408 ReplyHi, I’ve moved your request into the Currents support section but it looks like your post is missing a featured image. Adding a large featured image there (cropped to the same size as the space available would be best) should correct that issue for you.
April 9, 2012 at 3:38 pm in reply to: help please, newbie transferring blog to new newsy #116407 ReplyHello, Mrs. Monkey. It looks like the content of your old blog just needs to be exported and then imported into your new blog using our instructions from our support guide. Can you let us know if you’ve had any luck with that or where the transfer is breaking down?
April 9, 2012 at 3:18 pm in reply to: Hide Featured Image From Appearing in Actual Post? #116405 ReplyThere isn’t currently an option for that in ThemeMin but we’ll look into upgrading ThemeMin in the near future to better allow posting using a slider with featured images and shorter posts.
With ThemeMin I recommend only using featured images on longer posts where the content won’t be duplicated or even using a custom image for your featured image.
Newsy automatically adds the header image below the menu. You can customize it to what you’re looking for if you use Custom CSS with the the Custom Design upgrade. It’s a little more work but it should do the trick.
Hi, Bob. There isn’t really an easy way to do that. What I would recommend instead is to upload a custom header image at Appearance → Header in your dashboard. You should be able to have both book covers fit in one image and they’ll be seen on every page of your site.
Hi Anna & Carina. If you use display:none instead of visibility:hidden you should get the effect you’re looking for.
April 3, 2012 at 8:26 pm in reply to: Audio Player worked yet I lost it after I PUBLISHED #116272 ReplyThanks for reporting it, Woody. We’re looking into it.
Hi, Alison. I’ve refunded your purchase of Debut and removed it from your blog.
Hi, miostudiolancaster. I’ve refunded your theme purchase and removed the theme from your WordPress.com blog. Good luck with your new site!
Hey, Woody. I recommend giving post excerpts a shot.
Hi, islandvoiceinc. Those posts are using excerpts and the gallery shortcode to achieve that look.
If you’re comfortable with CSS, the Custom Design upgrade will let you change the menu color to whatever you like.
I hope those links help!
The following styles should get you pretty close:
#page {
position: relative;
}
#colophon {
position: static;
}
.footer-menu {
font-weight: bold;
padding-left: 25px;
position: absolute;
top: 20px;
z-index: 9999;
}This Custom CSS should get you started:
body {
color: pink;
}Basically, pick an HTML element and declare a new color. Your browsers inspector can help you get really specific when you need to.
I hope that helps!
February 29, 2012 at 7:35 pm in reply to: Disable site redirect & reclaim old url for new content #115180 ReplyHi, taylorhicksnews. You can manage, turn off, and delete the site redirect from the Domains page in the WordPress.com admin area. No content will be deleted from either blog.
I hope that helps!
