    Hi there,

    It’s been a while but we’ve added custom excerpt support for Forefront theme so that you can craft a blurb for each sub page that appears on the grid page template.

    Thanks!

    Oh, sorry. The below should do the job.

    .secondary-navigation .menu-item-322 > a,
    .secondary-navigation .menu-item-9252 > a {
    color: #B90504;
    }

    .secondary-navigation .menu-item-322 > a:hover,
    .secondary-navigation .menu-item-9252 > a:hover {
    color: #fff;
    }

    .menu-item-322 > a:after,
    .menu-item-9252 > a:after {
    content: "2192";
    position: relative;
    left: 2px;
    }

    .menu-item-322 > a:hover:after,
    .menu-item-9252 > a:hover:after {
    left: 7px;
    }

    is it possible to change the button colour to orange #f27231

    If you subscribe Custom Design, you can change it to whatever the color you like with the following custom CSS.

    .button, .button:visited {
    background-color: #13b813;
    }

    Alternatively if you use a css class button-minimal you can get the button like the demo site.

    also is it possible to have a scrolling screen of photos with left and right buttons like this:

    Unfortunately, the theme doesn’t offer a slider like the website has.

    Hi there,

    You can change the color of the tagline with the following custom CSS.

    #site-description {
    color: #E0E0E0;
    }

    This is just an example, change #E0E0E0 bit to whatever the color you like.

    Please let me know if you need further assistance.

    I assume you’d figured out why the massive space above “Live Chat”. This is how it appears to me in Chrome and Firefox now: https://cloudup.com/caXIpDhj7yQ

    Although it might be a bit confusing for some because of the inconsistent behaviour, I think this is what you asked for.

    .secondary-navigation .menu-item-322 > a,
    .secondary-navigation .menu-item-332 > a {
    color: #B90504;
    }

    .secondary-navigation .menu-item-322 > a:hover,
    .secondary-navigation .menu-item-332 > a:hover {
    color: #fff;
    }

    Please let me know if you need further assistance.

    I would like to know how to make the main front picture stretch to fit the sides of the grey margins as it does in forefronts sample here:

    The image behind the page title is a featured image. Make sure upload an image wider than 1230px to fit.

    Also i would like to delete the HOME title…

    If you remove the page title in the edit page screen in the admin, it won’t show up.

    By the way, the demo site uses the front page template. If you want to set up your site like the demo site, have a look the instruction about the front page template in the documentation.

    Please let me know if you need further assistance.

    Just to make sure… Can you let me know what you meant by the feature photo on your site?

    We’ve added “Read More” link instead of the standard […] for the case the text is long. Please let me know if you need further assistance.

    in reply to: Image Format in Search Results #132798 Reply

    @schoolfinder72,

    Just to clarify, featured images are displayed for only the standard format on not only search result page but all pages in Further. Therefore showing full contents from the image post format on search result page makes sense. We’ve released a fix for it. Thanks for the suggestion!

    This is not something to do with the theme.

    Now I can see 2,216 which is the correct number. Not sure what happend your widget but there might’ve been a bit of lag.

    I’m closing this as it seems to be fine now but if you see an issue like this, since this is not related to the theme, please do let us know in the General Question forum.

    @theeagertraveller,

    At this point, we don’t have a plan to add an icon for Instagram but we’ll keep it in mind. Thanks for the suggestion!

    @theeagertraveller

    I want to remove the content sidebar as advertised in the sample blogs on Further theme.

    Just to clarify, full width posts or removing the content sidebar is not advertised as a feature of Further theme. Blogs on featured in the theme showcase page are not sample blogs we put together. They are real users’ blogs using Further and we picked them because they are worth to be featured.

    I agree the way chicandgeek.com customized the post appearance is really awesome and it certainly made the way to be a featured blog.

    If you want to borrow the idea, I think the following code would do similar.

    .single #content-sidebar,

    .archive #content-sidebar,

    .search-results #content-sidebar {

    display: none;

    }

    .single .hentry,

    .archive .hentry,

    .search-results .hentry {

    max-width: 100%;

    }

    .single .attachment-featured-thumbnail img,

    .archive .attachment-featured-thumbnail img,

    .search-results .attachment-featured-thumbnail img {

    width: 100%;

    }

    @media screen and (min-width: 672px) {

    .single .site-content,

    .archive .site-content,

    .search-results .site-content {

    margin-right: 0;

    }

    }

    @media screen and (min-width: 1008px) {

    .single #main,

    .archive #main,

    .search-results #main {

    max-width: 100%;

    }

    }

    @media screen and (min-width: 1150px) {

    #primary .entry-content,

    #primary .entry-summary {

    margin: 0 12.5%;

    }

    #primary .entry-header {

    margin: -4.8rem 12.5% 0;

    }

    }

    Hope it helps.

    @authorannelange,

    I had a look the draft. The iframe method you have in the draft is not allowed here, WP.com.

    Please see this page: http://en.support.wordpress.com/videos/youtube/ how to add YouTube video in a post.

    Hope it helps.
