    We are trying to add widgets, specifically the navigation menu in the footer and possibly the cookie banner but every page says “There are no widget areas currently rendered in the preview. Navigate in the preview to a template that makes use of a widget area in order to access its widgets here.” in the customize screen.

    We attempted to make the home page the “Front Page” but the layout is simply way off to what we need and the other pages still said the there were no widgets.

    Please advise on what we need to do differently. Thank you.

    Hi there,

    The Mood theme only uses widgets on the Front Page template. The Default Template is the only other template, and it doesn’t use Widgets. In this case, it sounds like it would be best to consider using a different theme.
