I successfully created my static front page the way I wanted, EXCEPT – the widget section above the footer simply doesn’t appear, ever. Am I missing something? I’ve gone into Front: Widget Section, selected a background image, and yet when I go to try to add a widget I can’t figure out where to do that. Help! I love this theme and don’t want to change it because I got stuck! Thanks!

The blog I need help with is coffeemomrepeat.com

Hi there – I see three widgets in your front-page widget area – did you get this sorted out?

Hey, I’m having issues with this too. I can’t seem to get the social section etc to show, despite having the correct boxes ticked. https://antibodiesandunclebodies.wordpress.com/

amieeallen – to use the front-page widget area, you need to set a static homepage and assign it to the Front Page template.

Please try following the steps in the Getting Started section here:

Let me know how it goes.
