    I found another minor issue. Some of the text in the theme is white and directly over the background. If I choose a pale background color the text is almost invisible. I have found this in two places so far, screen shots provided:

    the place where you can subscribe to a comment

    the “Edit” links* for posts on the “menu template” – but only if they are “visited”
    * have to be logged in to see these links

    Hi there, I think that’s because you’ve selected white for your links, as you can see in this screenshot:

    You can override the white link colour on both those pieces of text by adding this to your custom CSS under Appearance > Customize > CSS:

color: #484843;
    
}
    

    
.edit-link .post-edit-link {
    
border-bottom: 1px solid #484843;
    
color: #484843;
    
}

    Let me know if that does the trick.
