Transfer hive theme

Can the Hive theme transferred to a self-hosted site? We work on a website for a non-govermental organisation with very limited funds and unfortunately we weren’t aware of the fact that once installed in WordPress (which we did to show a draft of the website to the members of the organization) we cannot transfer it to a self-hosted site or get a zip of the theme (which is actually not one of the cheapest). Would be great if you could help us.

Hi @kaoer,

We partnered with PixelGrade to offer Hive on WordPress.com. If you purchase the theme directly from our repository, then it can only be used with sites that are hosted here.

If you’d like to use the theme on a self-hosted site then you’ll need to purchase a separate version directly from PixelGrade here:

If you’d like to be refunded for the WordPress.com theme then let us know within the next couple of days and we can help with that. As part of the refund, the theme will be removed from your site so you wouldn’t be able to continue to use it as a draft.
