    Blissful Style

    My title is “Blissful Style Where fashion is joy”. I would like “Blissful Style” to be in a bright, cheerful red and “Where fashion is joy” to be in a rosy pink. I think this would look pretty and would complement the colors in my header image. Right now the title is simply in black. The blog I need help with is http://blissfulstyle.com

    I also would like to change the colors of my menu tabs: Home, Collage Art, Portfolio, Resume, and Contact. I might want to use alternating red and pink to match the title, or a third color that is a shade of purple. I am also interested in using this same color for “Older posts”.

    Thank you!

    The blog I need help with is blissfulstyle.com

    Hi there – we can certainly separately change the colour of your Site Title (Blissful Joy) and tagline (Where fashion is joy). Try adding this to your Customizer’s CSS panel:

    /* Change site title colour */
    .site-title {
      color: #ec3f40;
    }
    /* Change tagline colour */
    .site-description {
      color: #de718a;
    }

    You can change the colours to anything you like using a colour-picker tool like this one: http://htmlcolorcodes.com/

    I also would like to change the colors of my menu tabs: Home, Collage Art, Portfolio, Resume, and Contact. I might want to use alternating red and pink to match the title, or a third color that is a shade of purple. I am also interested in using this same color for “Older posts”.

    Try this:

    /* Change menu text colour */
    .menu a {
      color: #ec3f40;
    }
    /* Change every second menu item text colour */
    .menu li:nth-of-type(2n+1) a {
      color: #de718a;
    }

    I am also interested in using this same color for “Older posts”.

    This should do the trick. Modify the colour code as you like:

    /* Change "Older posts" link colour */
    #infinite-handle span button {
      color: #ec3f40;
    }

    Let me know how it goes!

    Hi, Kat…
    How can I change the square and font color in the previous and next links at the bottom of each article?

    Hi Pacasso, this should get you going:

    /* Change background colour on single post navigation */
    .post-navigation .nav-links a {
      background-color: #bb00bb;
    }
    /* Change text colour on single post navigation */
    .style-pack-elegant .post-navigation .nav-links a {
      color: #ff00ff;
    }
    /* Change colour of previous/next words on single post navigation */
    .nav-subtitle {
      color: #ffffcc;
    }

    If you need further help, could you please start a new thread rather than adding to an old one, especially marked as resolved? It’s very easy for us to miss new questions added to resolved topics, and it also prevents the other posters from receiving email updates about unrelated issues. Thanks!
