Hello there,
I am thinking of switching to Small Business. Is there a way to incorporate a slider into the theme? One possibility would be the promotional area or featured image. If that is not possible, can you mimic that look with a carousel of images? If that works, what size would you set the images at to be full width?Also can testamonials appear on the front page? Thanks so much!

SusanHi Susan, there is no slider in Small Business.

The main column in Small Business is 740px wide. I would suggest uploading images at double that size so they are sharp on retina (high-density) screens. If you wanted to go any wider than that, you’d need custom CSS. If you decide to switch themes, we could help you with specific CSS at that point.
Also can testamonials appear on the front page?

Given all the specific features you’re looking for, I do wonder if another theme that has these features built in might be better suited. For example, Dara has a slider, testimonials, and a grid-page template. Might be simpler. :)

I like the feature of having the clickable information (Phone, email, address) links up top. Although it is a beautiful theme, Dara does not have this option. That’s why I was interested in Small Business. It’s not easy to find the perfect theme.

If you went with Dara, I see two places you could put the address/email/phone – the tagline (but it wouldn’t be clickable) or the menu (where they would be clickable, but they would be mixed in with your navigation). Neither is ideal.
If you decide to switch to Small Business, you will need to use a few workarounds to get the other features you’re looking for, but we’re happy to help if you get stuck at any step.
