My page looks terrible. I did not do anything to ti so I assume it is a general error. Any Help would be greatly appreciated

My blog at pilgrim52.wordpress.com is having the same problem. Overnight WordPress has changed the sidebar to a jumbled mess. What’s that about. I did nothing to it between last night and this morning. I cleared the cache and tried it in two browsers. Still looks the same.

I changed my theme to the Christmas one for now, just to see the sidebar. Let me know what I can do to help fix it? Thanks!

There’s nothing you can do at your end – it’s a glitch on our side. Thanks for your patience – our developers are working on it!

Thank you! Look forward to having this resolved.

Pilgrim52 – is it easy to switch to another theme like that and then switch back to on a Whim?

On a Whim should be back to normal – sorry about the glitch, everyone!

is it easy to switch to another theme like that and then switch back to on a Whim?

Some of the things to watch out for when you switch themes is that your custom CSS may need to be restored from a revision, and you may need to re-add widgets which have moved into the Inactive section.

I haven’t tried to switch back yet ascantalides. I’m quite enjoying the Christmas theme. I will try it, however, and see. I haven’t customised my CSS at all, so it should be easy.

    Thanks for the fix Kathrynwp!

Glad you’ve gotten a chance to have fun with some of the holiday themes!

Thanks again for the reports about this issue. I’m going to close this thread now, but feel free to start a new one if you notice any further problems.
