    Hi, me again!

I’ve launched my site and everything’s ticking along quite nicely.

Today I tried to pick out my site through search engines and noticed this message was accompanied with the link:

”A description for this result is not available because of this site’s robots.txt”

    – I’m not even gonna pretend to understand. Is there something I can do about this?

Since you only recently launched your site, setting it from private to public just a few days ago, search engines may not yet have had a chance to index the site and grab a description for the search engine results snippet. It takes some time for search engines to return to a site to refresh its indexes, so I’d suggest giving it about a week or two and checking again.

You might also want to verify your site with search engines like Google and Bing, which lets you see how often your site is being indexed and offers other benefits.
