    Tassen Upp!

I’m in LOVE with this theme. But it doesn’t do me any good, as it doesn’t allow me to intrigue readers with featured images, and also: visitors need the feature “read more related posts”. Please. Please. Please make “ON A WHIM 2”. :-)

The blog I need help with is tassenupp.com

Hi there – I’m seeing the Related Posts section at the bottom of each post, like:

Tips Fa st hundselen i halsbandet och koppla av Tassen Upp

    Are you all set there?

We don’t have any plans for an On a Whim 2, so featured images aren’t something that are going to be added to this theme.

Thank you Kathryn, you’re right about the related post bit, of course, my bad.

I’m sorry to hear there will be no On a Whim 2:

I think On a Whim is a one of a kind theme out there; it’s distinct, warm and, well on a whim – a much needed feature in 2018. It just needs some updates, like featured images and featured posts. Please?

I apologize for my late response, I didn’t see your answer until now.

    Best regards :-)

I’m glad you like On a Whim so much! As I mentioned before, there aren’t any plans to do a new version, but one option is that if you chose to run it on a self-hosted site (where the WordPress software is running on your own hosting), you would be able to download the theme files and modify it any way you like. The self-hosted version of On a Whim is available at Creative Market. I know this isn’t the answer you wanted to hear, but it’s one workaround you might want to consider.

    Good luck with your site!

Hi Kathryn, thank you so much for your reply! :-) That’s a great tip, I might give it a try with CSS on my wp.com business account!

Self-hosted site: I’m hesitant about moving my site to wp.org; it’s a hazzle, and with so much “wp.org” stuff like plugins going on at wp.com right now, I’m hoping for a merge between self-hosting and WP-hosting in a fairly near future..: Fingers crossed, albeit naively ;-)

Thank you again, for great support! :-)
