    Hello! On my site, a page named “Products” is set as the static front page of my site.

    When someone is on any other page, whether a sub-menu item or not, a navigation menu pops up above the headings. For sub pages, it says “home” when it should say “products”, since products is the home page that also is the parent page. For non-sub pages, I want it to go away.

    Home page: https://ovejanaturals.com/
    On a sub page: https://ovejanaturals.com/deodorant/
    On a regular page: https://ovejanaturals.com/contact/

    The blog I need help with is ovejanaturals.com

    Hi there,

    By default, the theme uses “Home” rather than the title of your site’s home page for the first link in the navigation. There isn’t a built-in way to change this but you could potentially use some custom CSS to override the theme’s default text.

    Navigate to the CSS editor of the WordPress.com Customizer and copy/paste the following to replace “Home” with “Products”:

    .entry-breadcrumbs a[rel="home"] {
        font-size: 0;
    }

    .entry-breadcrumbs a[rel="home"]:before {
        content: "Products \00A0\203A\00A0 ";
        font-size: 10px;
    }

    Hiding the navigation from specific pages is also possible with custom CSS but a little trickier.

    The first step is for you to find the page ID of the page you want to hide the navigation from. We have guidance on how to find a page ID here:

    https://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/#how-to-find-the-page-id

    For your Contact page, for example, you can see the ID in the URL of the page’s editor is 28:

    https://wordpress.com/page/ovejanaturals.com/28

    We can the use that page ID to specifically hide the navigation from the Contact page with the following custom CSS:

    .page-id-28 .entry-breadcrumbs {
        display: none;
    }

    To hide the navigation from another page, you’d copy/paste the above CSS but replace the number 28 with the ID of the new page.

    Hope that’s clear! Let us know if you have any further questions.
