    Hi! I am trying to make the feature images smaller and I’ve tried uploading smaller images and it doesn’t seem to be working. Is there are way to make the image not take up 75% of the page. Thanks!

    Hi there!

    You can do this with a little bit of custom CSS code.

    Go into your site’s admin Dashboard and select Customize → Additional CSS. In the CSS textbox on the left, add the following code:

    .entry-thumbnail {
    max-width: 800px;
    max-height: 300px;
    margin: 0 auto;
    }

    You should see the changes right away, but this is just a preview for you, so you can experiment a little with the sizes if you like. Once you’re happy with it, select “Publish” from the top, and your changes will be applied to your site.

    If you have any further questions, please let us know. :)

    I made this adjustment for the featured images. Is there a way to do this for the promo image as well?

    Hi there,

    Before I begin, since your site has a Premium plan, you’re entitled to live-chat and email support, accessible here:

    https://wordpress.com/help/contact

    You’re welcome to still post in these forums, but those other support avenues may be faster, and you’ll always get a staff reply.

    Is there a way to do this for the promo image as well?

    It sounds like this is for the main image on the Home page.
    Do you just want it shorter?

    Keep in mind that if that happens, it will cut off more of the photo.

    If that’s ok, do you want it shorter only on desktops or also on tablet/phone widths as well?
