Hello.. I am wanting a theme with these features:

    1. Simple home page where content is easily categorized and labeled. But all that content i.e. articles, galleries, etc. are stored on subpages and not on the homepage/homescreen. Is there any way NOT to have a newsfeed as my frontpage/homepage/homescreen? I would like NOT to have new additions appear there automatically.

Or is this not a possibility with wordpress.com? Would i be better to migrate to wordpress.org?

    Help!
    Thank-you in advance ;)

The blog I need help with is thesamenessproject.com

Any theme that has a widgetized home page would do this for you. Then you would use different widgets to show posts from different categories or pages.

Yes it does. :) The documentation shows what widget areas it has on the home page and how to set them up.
