Infinite scrolling seems to have made my widgets and sidebar disappear — right to the bottom of a never-ending scroll. This ruins the front page of my site http://pieceofpaperpress.com — how can I get my widgets and sidebar back and/or turn off infinite scroll??

    Help!

The blog I need help with is pieceofpaperpress.com

The problem seems to have either been resolved or to have resolved itself.
    Thanks

Hi there – I’m seeing your sidebar and widgets correctly positioned on http://pieceofpaperpress.com/ in Firefox 32 on Mac 10.9.5.

Are you still seeing your sidebar misplaced? If you are, could you please upload a screenshot to help in troubleshooting?

Here’s a guide on how to make a screenshot, if you’re not sure: http://en.support.wordpress.com/make-a-screenshot/

You can upload the screenshot – in a graphic format like JPG, PNG, or PDF – in your Media Library so I can see it. Thanks.

In what browser and version are you seeing the sidebar dropped?

A dropped sidebar is often the sign of extraneous HTML code like div tags in a post, but I had a peek at your most recent post and don’t see anything suspicious in the HTML.

You can always turn off Infinite Scroll in your dashboard, under Settings > Reading, and unchecking the box next to “Scroll Infinitely” – but it would be better to troubleshoot this to figure out why your sidebar is dropping.

Ah, just noticed your second post. Glad the issue is sorted – I’ll mark this thread as resolved. Feel free to start a new one if you need further help.
