Is it possible to add additional social media icons in the footer?
Currently, only Facebook, Twitter and Tumblr are available under Connect. Other popular platforms I wish to incorporate are instagram and google plus.

Hi there,
Google Plus and Instagram are not part of Connect at this time, so it’s not possible to add them. I will pass along your suggestion to the team that works on Connect, however. If those services are added in the future, we’ll let you know!
In the meantime, you can add links to your Instagram and Google Plus accounts inside widgets in your sidebar (I see you have done something similar with a footer widget already). We also have an Instagram widget that will allow you display your Instagram photos in the sidebar.

I noticed on the demo page, that there is a tumblr icon inside the footer. But when I go to Connect section, only Facebook, Twitter and Linkedln are available. Is the Tumblr only limited to demo site?
Hi there,
Tumblr should be available as an option for Connect, but you need an active Tumblr connection first. Go to Dashboard > Settings > Sharing and take a look at the Publicize section. Tumblr should be in the list of available networks. Once you connect to your Tumblr account, you should then be able to add the Tumblr icon in the footer.
