    ALL the headlines for posts and featured pages now seem to be in ‘uppercase’. I don’t want it; can I prevent it?

    The blog I need help with is storyboard4.com

    Adding this CSS under Appearance > Customize > CSS will remove the uppercase formatting on most of your posts:

    #primary .entry-header .entry-title {
    text-transform: none;

    I did notice that you’ve typed the title in all-caps on some of your pages – like this one – so you’ll need to edit the title field on those posts on your end to remove the uppercase letters.

    Just let me know if you need further help.

    Thanks; that worked. In fact, after entering the CSS, all headlines, whether posts or pages, went back to the way I prefer. I realise print or online editorial styles in the US are different from Europe but while I read the NY Times (international) fairly regularly, and have occasionally written for it, I have to admit I find the ‘all-uppercase’ headlines are akin to a visual megaphone. No offence meant of course.

    It works fine !

    Is it possible to do the same for the featured content at the top of the web site ? (grid of 6 posts – 3 on mine)

    crcgtpc – could you please start a new thread for your separate question? Thanks.

    storyboard4 – glad you’re all sorted.

    I’m going to close this thread now, but feel free to start new ones if you need further help.
