    Hello! I am brand new to WordPress so I have some very basic questions about the Elemin theme I just purchased.

    1. Many of the small headings, for example in the sidebar are all capitalized. Can I change that?

    2. The headings for each blog post are Italicized. Is there any way to adjust them to be Plain font, similar to the Default Elemin Header? (I have since changed this to en external logo, but I did like how the font looked).

    3. How do I add more buttons at the top of the page next to ‘Home’ and ‘About’? Like categories of my blog (Food, Fashion, my dog).

    4. I migrated from Tumblr. On my tumblr page, every time I made a new post I assigned it a #hashtag that would file it under one of those buttons at the top (Food, Fashion, my dog, travel). Did those hastag assignments transfer over to WordPress? Or do I need to re-categorize every past post?

    For reference, my WordPress blog is http://www.BlondieLuxe.com
    and my old Tumblr is now http://blondieluxe.tumblr.com/

    Thank you!

    The blog I need help with is blondieluxe.com

    Hi there. Welcome to WordPress.com! :)

    Many of the small headings, for example in the sidebar are all capitalized. Can I change that?

    You can change this with CSS using the Custom Design upgrade for your blog.

    The CSS that you would need to use is as follows:

    .entry-meta a {
    font-variant: normal;
    }

    The headings for each blog post are Italicized. Is there any way to adjust them to be Plain font, similar to the Default Elemin Header? (I have since changed this to en external logo, but I did like how the font looked).

    You can do this with Custom CSS:

    .entry-title {
    font-style: normal;
    }

    How do I add more buttons at the top of the page next to ‘Home’ and ‘About’? Like categories of my blog (Food, Fashion, my dog).

    The best way to do this is with Custom Menus.

    WordPress uses Categories and Tags. In your case, your hashtags were ported over as Tags (see this), for example: http://blondieluxe.com/tag/a-la-maison/

    Hope this helps!

    philiparthurmoore, thank you very much for the help!

    2 additional questions I forgot to ask.

    1. When I view my wordpress blog, many of the photos look ‘smushed’ or distorted in some way, like they weren’t able to be the full width. Does it look that way for you as well? For example in this post:

    http://blondieluxe.com/2013/07/05/traveling-to-paris-step-1-international-veterinary/

    2. Also, is there a way to make the sidebar not so wide? And/or delete it all together, and put the sidebar info at the bottom of the page?

    Thank you for being so patient with these questions, I can imagine they are asked often.

    sorry, 1 more!

    Is there a way to create a contact page where followers can email me? But instead of just listing my email address, and directly emailing my Gmail, they would fill out a form? And then when I reply, it wouldn’t include my IP address? If that makes sense.

    Hello,

    The stretching you were experiencing with Elemin has been fixed (although I noticed you’ve switched to another theme).

    Sidebars cannot be moved to the bottom of the page, but may re-arrange themselves that way on mobile phones. We can, however, make a sidebar more narrow with Custom CSS in the Custom Design upgrade; more info here:

    Regarding a contact page, you can add a contact form to any page you like; you can find instructions here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact-form/

    Regards,

    Kirk
