    Hi,
I purchased A Simpler Time theme and am happy with it, but for one thing. There doesn’t seem to be an ‘edit’ link on my posts that will take me from the post back into my dashboard. If I have just been working on the post and can simply click on the back arrow, it’s no problem. But there are times when I would like to get back into the dashboard straight from the post and the only way I can do it is by pulling up the dashboard page separately.

I have two other WordPress blogs (using different themes) and both of them have ‘edit’ links on posts, which take me directly to the dashboard. Am I missing it on this theme, or was it left out?

    Thanks for your help!

Hi VNesdoly. I left this out of A Simpler Time because it’s redundant, in a way. If you’re viewing a post, for example this one, then you should be able to Edit the post from your Toolbar: http://p-am.net/grabs/reader-edit-post.mov. I realize a lot of themes have the Edit link output around the post content, but I really didn’t like the clutter. I hope this solution of using the Toolbar is one that works for you with A Simpler Time.

Thank you! I actually took another look after I wrote the above, and discovered that toolbar access myself. Don’t know why I didn’t think of checking that before. Clever! And yes, less cluttered.

    Thanks for your quick response!

Awesome! I’ll close this out and mark it resolved, but please do feel free to post new threads if you have more questions. Cheers.
