The month “October” (and presumably, other months of this length in letters) wraps unattractively with the “r” going to the next line, i.e.:

    Octobe
    r

Is there a way to increase the length of the “tab” date background so that “October” and other months will not wrap in such a manner?

The blog I need help with is stuff2gnawon.wordpress.com

Hi @murphus. This isn’t possible without a custom design upgrade. But what you can do is modify your post dates under Dashboard → Settings → General so that they are shortened and more readable in the current design of your blog. Cheers.

Thanks – and sorry, I just noticed that there was already a post concerning this. It’s unfortunate that this Premium Theme does not accommodate fully spelled-out month or day names, as they seem to go better with the design elements. I appreciate the amazingly fast response to my question!

    Best,

You make a great point, Murph. Let us noodle around with the theme and see if we can come up with something that doesn’t require a custom design upgrade to handle this. In the meantime, a slight date change will do the trick. Thanks and let me know if you need anything else.

    Hi murphus,

Just wanted to let you know that we increased the width of the date box in Vintage Kitchen.
