paulpict7MemberHi there,
Firstly, I cannot figure out how to ensure that my custom header resizes for mobiles/tablets. Could you please provide the CSS required to do this?
Secondly, my header image is the full 1440 x 610 size specified for this blog which looks great but creates a user experience problem. When a menu item page is clicked on, there is no indication to the user that content has changed as it is out of view below full screen header image. Is there anything I can do to improve this? (i.e. page automatically scrolls down when menu item clicked on?). Hope that makes sense.
Thanks,
Paul

Kathryn P.Happiness EngineerHi Paul, the way Wire is designed, it works really well with abstract, photographic, or textured header graphics. As you can see in the demo, the site title and tagline resize at various screen sizes to accommodate different mobile devices:
http://wiredemo.wordpress.com/
If you’d like to keep your logo as part of the header graphic, I’d try making it smaller. You can see an example of a site using Wire with a smaller logo here:
http://piepdxblog.wordpress.com/
They’ve also made the entire header graphic shorter, which relates to the second issue you mentioned.
You can see what they’ve adjusted in their custom CSS to accommodate the tweaks:

Just let me know if you need further help.

paulpict7MemberThanks. Is it possible to change the orange menu bar colour?
Thanks.

Kathryn P.Happiness EngineerIs it possible to change the orange menu bar colour?
Sure! The best and easiest way to change the menu bar colour is by selecting the default coral colour in the customizer. You can then change it to one of the suggested colours, or click the “pick your own color” link to select your own colour.

Let me know if you need further help with the menu.
If you have any new questions, please start a new thread. Thanks!

paulpict7MemberHi,
Thanks! I have done this but all it has changed is the lines between the header menu buttons. Help!

Kathryn P.Happiness EngineerHow odd indeed! I just tried it on my test site and it worked fine, as you can see here: https://cloudup.com/cuPgG-7_JzP
Could you please try resetting the colours to their defaults by clicking the Default button at the top right of the colour palettes. Then try selecting your menu colour again, followed by any other colours you’d like to tweak. Let me know how it goes.

Kathryn P.Happiness EngineerI’m going to close this thread since it looks like you’ve switched themes, but feel free to start a new one if you need help with anything else.
If you’ll no longer be using Wire, you have a couple more days to issue yourself a refund under Store > My Upgrades, since you bought the theme on March 22 and refunds may be issued up to 30 days after purchase.
