Hello,

I am a Newbie and I am setting up my blog. I am trying to add pages and need help with formatting them. I only see options to have the pages full width. I am looking to do a gallery page, and others. Is there an option to select a layout that the theme advertised for my pages?

Hi there!

Welcome to WordPress.com.

Here’s how to set the layouts in Funki:

For a one-column layout, remove the widgets from the “Left” and “Right” sidebar. You can also set a one-column layout on a per-page basis by selecting the “Full-width” page template.

For a two-column layout, add widgets to either the “Left” or “Right” sidebar.

For a three-column layout, add widgets to both the “Left” or “Right” sidebar.

Would I be able to have different layouts in the same blog. For example, one layout for my homepage, and another for my about page?

It really depends on what you mean by different layout. There’s a lot you can do with Wp.com features as well as the Custom Design Upgrade.

For instance, you can use the gallery shortcode to create galleries: http://en.support.wordpress.com/images/gallery/
