    Hey!

If this is useful for anyone, there’s a copy of the CSS file I used here.

So you should be able to change colors and fonts, control most link and hover colors, add a graphic header, hide some elements, change the headers and spacing, and fiddle with the gravatar site logo thingy.

But probably most useful for changing colors all over the place!

It’s got comments all through it, so it should be clear what to do. I mean, for user ability, I’d think you just need to know where to put the CSS file, and how to deal with colors.

Actually not even that. So change #123456 and #FFFFFF to other random numbers, and the colors change, yeah? So six digits, 0-9 and A-F, and use something like the Paint.Net color picker to see what the numbers are. Um, that’s all, really.

But you’ll need On a Whim, and the WordPress Custom Design upgrade, and I’m not sure but I’m on a wordpress.com site so everything’s probably different on .org.

So no help, no promises, and just in case that’s useful for anyone!

And support people – this is a very cool theme, and I’m not trying to being rude in any way by fiddling, and if anything in here is just an awful way to do something, please just fix it, or take this down, or edit the file and put up a new one, or whatever! This is just how I got it to do what I wanted, so I’m not claiming I’m any good at this or anything!

Oh, and the side widgets – you get alternating heart-boxes or unbordered lists, basically. So every second one has a heart-box border. But you can just add blank text boxes, which don’t show on the page, to even-or-odd things until they are how you want. Just to say that because I missed it, and it saves doing anything really awful in the CSS to change that formatting.

    Um, yeah. That’s all!

    Have fun,
    Tess
