I need help formatting the site so that it has a two or three column layout? Is that feature somewhere under appearance?

I also made note of issues with the slider feature on the home page in a previously written request.

    Thank you,

The blog I need help with is seequeencity.wordpress.com

Hi there, it looks like you have figured out how to add a two-column layout and the slider looks like it’s working as well. Let us know if you have any other questions.

I did manage to figure out the sliding post – but I did not figure out how to size one of the images to display properly within the slider’s dimensions. Please see the Fanta post for this example.

I figured out a sidebar layout, but I did not figure out a sidebar with two column layout. I’m actually interested in a three-column layout. Where do I go in the dashboard to make that change?

    Thanks

Hi, seequeencity. Adding widgets to both the right and left sidebars will automatically give you a three-column layout.

The Fanta image looks like it’s correctly fitting the slider. If it isn’t, would you be able to provide a screenshot of the intended look?

    Desired view

    Current view

I’m not sure if I linked the items properly since I haven’t done this before. Please let me know if you can see the current and desired view of the image.

Also, I believe you’re recommending that I add a left side bar to obtain three columns, but I’m not looking for another sidebar. I’d like the right side bar I have, and a layout in the main body of the side to accommodate two or three columns. For example, having 2-3 posts appear side by side in a smaller block of text. I saw these examples on the funki theme – two column plus a right or left sidebar, three column plus a sidebar, etc. Does that make sense?

    Thank you

    Hi seequeencity,

I see the issue with the featured image for the Fanta post. Can you try cropping the image in your favorite image editor to the exact dimensions of the slider, before you upload it? The dimensions are 990 × 420 pixels. You can then upload this new cropped version and set it as the featured image for the Fanta post.

    Does that help?

I’d like the right side bar I have, and a layout in the main body of the side to accommodate two or three columns. For example, having 2-3 posts appear side by side in a smaller block of text. I’m afraid this option is not available in the WordPress.com version of Funki. The example you saw was the original, WordPress.org version from Themify.

Aw, man. That option is one of the main reasons I chose the Funki theme. The blog will not have the layout I was hoping to create without it. In that case, I’d like to identify a different theme. Can I cancel the purchase of this one? Please let me know how I can go about doing so.

    Thank you,

    Hi there,

I’m sorry the Funki theme will not work out for you. I have cancelled and refunded your purchase.
