    I bought the CSS package and can’t figure out how to unshadow the words on my header and also how to change the color of the fonts in my background. It would seem that after spending $90, I should be afforded some more flexibility. I’m new at WP and super confused and currently disappointed in the amount of time it is taking to make these simple changes that I spent money to do. Please advise.

    The blog I need help with is myawesomeoliveshoots.com

    Howdy @oliveshootinstitute. If you’d like to unshadow the words in your header then use the following Custom CSS:

    .site-description {

    text-shadow: none;

    }

    Can you give me more information about what you mean when you say “…change the color of the fonts in my background.” I’m not quite sure what you’re asking. Cheers.

    I’ll give it a try and thanks for your cheerful response. When I purchased the premium theme, I was playing around with wordpress and lost the original background. I thought the background was actually a little too dark for my taste. I found a different background but now the words on the sidebar, header, etc. need to be changed (if possible) because they don’t show up well in the background. And since I’ve spent a ton of time on all of this, I just changed my background since I wasn’t having any luck. I want to know if it’s possible to change the font color and if the answer is yes, how does one do it? I appreciate your time!

    @oliveshootinstitute: You can absolutely change your font colors with Custom CSS. Here’s an example for the main body color:

    body {

    color: red;

    }

    Here’s an example for the text in the sidebar:

    .widget-area,

    .widget-area a {

    color: red;

    }

    Hope that helps and definitely let me know if there’s anything else you need. If you ever want to change your background then you can do it from your Dashboard under Appearance → Background. Cheers.
