    Hello !

    i would like to know if it’s possible to change the margin right and left of the static pages (not for articles), in order to have the content with the same margin on the right and left (and minimized in my case).

    Thx a lot !

    Emmanuel

    Hi there,

    I’m not quite sure I understand what you mean by:

    in order to have the content with the same margin on the right and left (and minimized in my case).

    Can you clarify this for me?

    However, you can change the margins on pages with the following CSS:

    .page #primary .full-width .entry-header,
    .page #primary .full-width .entry-content,
    .page #primary .full-width footer.entry-meta {
    margin: 0 5.88224%
    }

    Change the “5.8..%” to the value you desire, and that will be applied to both the left and right margins.

    To change the margins on the mobile view of Further, use this CSS:

    .page #primary .entry-header,
    .page #primary .entry-content {
    margin: 0 1.88224%
    }

    Again, change the “1%” value to your desired amount for the margin.

    Hope this helps and let me know if you have any other questions.

    Hello Michiecat,

    in fact it appears that the margins change according the size of the screen but not with the same size (both).

    Look at my screen if i’m not enough clearly :(

    (with little screen/display)

    (with big display)

    The result is not the same :/

    Thx a lot !

    Thanks so much for the screenshots. Are you referring to the fact that you can see the gray background on larger screens, but not on smaller screens? Which view do you want to keep, the large screen view (with the gray background) or the smaller screen view (without the gray background)?

    I just want to make sure we’re thinking about the same thing. :)

    Aha, I see what you mean now! This is actually the way the Further theme was designed. To make the margins more even, try this:

    .full-width.site-content {
    margin: 0 70px 0 184px;
    }

    The “70px” is the right margin, and the “184px” is the left margin. You may need to adjust the numbers until the margins look right to you.

    Let me know how that works for you.
