    Hi Renske, are you trying to change the height of your custom header graphic here – http://renskejurriens.files.wordpress.com/2014/07/copy-header_foto_1.gif – or something else? The custom header in ThemeMin is set to a maximum of 960 × 180 pixels.

    With Custom Design you could add custom CSS to alter certain aspects of your site. It would be possible to add your own custom header of a different size, for example, bypassing the built-in custom header uploader.

    Let me know more about what you’re trying to accomplish and I’ll be glad to help further.

    Hi,

    I changed my header, I hope it helps me to explain what I want :-). I actually want the kind of header you designed. But I can’t find out how I get the header text outlined at the word ‘home’. And I can’t get rid of the big white space above and underneath the header. Even If I designe the header smaller in, for example, illustrator, in seize 960 x 80. I hope you understand my problem. Pretty difficult to explain it in English.

    Thanks for your support!

    Which header do you mean, could you link to it?

    But I can’t find out how I get the header text outlined at the word ‘home’.

    Are you saying that you’d like the menu item “Home” to have a box around it? If so, do you want to see this box when you’re on the homepage only? If that’s what you’re after, you could try this custom CSS, for which you’ll need Custom Design.

    .home .menu-item-1290 {
      border: 1px solid #348bbc;
    }

    It’ll look like this: https://cloudup.com/cO3CTS_KN8n

    And I can’t get rid of the big white space above and underneath the header.

    I’m not seeing big white space at the moment, but if you did want to adjust the spacing around the header, you’ll need some custom CSS. I could help you with that if you decide to purchase the upgrade to have access to Custom Design, just let me know.
