Can anyone tell me how to activate the image carousel when using the nurture theme?

You’ll find a step-by-step guide to setting up the homepage image carousel on the Nurture support page – it’s the first section at the top:

    http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/nurture/support/

Just let us know if you run into any trouble with it!

Thanks for the help Kathryn. Unfortunately I’m still having trouble. I’ve saved tags and gone into old posts to update them with the tags I created, but when I specify an image to be displayed with each post, the image shows up in the actual post and not on the image carousel where I want it. Any ideas? Thanks so much.

It looks like you haven’t yet assigned a tag to the posts you want in your carousel.

I’ve saved tags and gone into old posts to update them with the tags I created

Could you confirm that this is the site we’re talking about?

    wineandsmartiesblog.wordpress.com

On that site, only one post has a tag at the moment, and the tag is “parenting.”

You can see your tags here:

    https://wineandsmartiesblog.wordpress.com/wp-admin/edit-tags.php?taxonomy=post_tag

To create the carousel, you’ll need to create a special tag. It could be something like the word featured or carousel or slider, or whatever you like!

When you went back into old posts to add a new tag, did you click the blue “Update” button to make sure the tag is saved?

I’m marking this resolved for now, but feel free to reopen or start a new thread if you still need help!
