kariMemberHello,
I’m having issues with the “sticky” post option. I understand how to add and remove it, but when I do it in the “full edit” mode, it seems unnecessarily time-consuming to scroll down to that option and “republish,” and when I do it in the “quick edit” mode, chaos often ensues.
What tends to happen in quick mode when I uncheck the sticky option and click “update” is that either the title of the blog post disappears (the most frequent problem) or the date of post publication changes to the current date.
Is there (or could you create) an easier way to shift things back and forth between sticky and non-sticky?
Thank you!
The blog I need help with is denovojournal.wordpress.com
Zack TollmanMemberHi there!
I am moving this post to the General Discussions forum as it seems that this is not specifically related to Linen.
kariMemberOkay, thank you! Sorry about that!
Kathryn P.Happiness EngineerHi there,

Since the box where the sticky option lives is quite close to the top of the page, and the publish button is right there in the box, I’m not quite sure why you’re having to scroll down to see it. Would it be possible to upload a screenshot of what you see to help in troubleshooting?
Here’s a guide on how to make a screenshot, if you’re not sure: http://en.support.wordpress.com/make-a-screenshot/
You can upload the screenshot – in a graphic format like JPG, PNG, or PDF – in your Media Library so I can see it.

I just tested this in Firefox 23 and wasn’t able to replicate this issue – no titles were erased and no publication dates changed when I changed the status from “sticky” to “not sticky.”
Would you mind confirming that you’re using IE7? Is it possible for you to upgrade to a more recent version of IE, such as IE9 or IE10?
To rule out a browser-specific issue, could you let me know if this issue also happens in a different browser, like Chrome or Firefox?
Thanks for your help!
