Hi there, you have a couple of widget options that will allow you to add a bio and photo!

Have a look at these:

– Gravatar profile widget: http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/gravatar-profile-widget/
– About.me widget: http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/about-me/
– Text widget: http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/text-widget/ This option is the most flexible, but you’ll need to use a bit of HTML to add an image to your blurb, by linking it from your media library.

Since you already have a bio and image on your Gravatar profile, the Gravatar widget might be the easiest route.
